The paintings of Doug Cox are ripe with figures coming from the shadowy areas of public baths or perhaps a dream. His sense of the light and shade stand at the forefront of his masterful technique. The air of mystery that encompass these figures in an environment of darkness are full of a slice of life taht is at the same time both somber and delightful.
